Global Maritime Consultancy Limited and Alpha 1 Oil and Gas Limited (“Alpha 1 Energy”) have signed a cooperation agreement to jointly deliver Marine Warranty Surveying (MWS) and Marine Assurance services to Ghana’s offshore oil and gas sector.
Global Maritime and Alpha 1 Energy Sign Cooperation Agreement to Deliver Marine Warranty Surveying and Marine Assurance Services in Ghana
The agreement combines Global Maritime’s international technical expertise with Alpha 1 Energy’s established local presence and in-country capabilities. This strategic alliance will enable operators and tier one contractors in Ghana to access world-class MWS and Marine Assurance solutions through a wholly Ghanaian company.
The collaboration is intended to support offshore projects across Ghana with high-quality, locally delivered services that align with Ghanaian local content requirements while maintaining international safety and operational standards.
This partnership will provide:
- Industry-leading MWS and Marine Assurance services delivered locally in Ghana under Global Maritime’s quality system.
- Services delivered through Alpha 1 Energy, an established, well-recognised and wholly Ghanaian service provider;
- Full compliance with Ghanaian local content requirements
- A substantial proportion of service delivery and project support executed in-country through Alpha 1 Energy and Ghanaian personnel: and
- A long-term framework for skill transfer and increased local participation in specialized offshore assurance services.
