Global Maritime Supports Culzean Floating Wind Project Milestone

Archer Wind and the Culzean Floating Wind project has reached a key milestone with the successful loadout of its Ocergy floating foundation. Global Maritime has successfully provided support to Archer Wind in reaching this milestone, providing engineering and subcontractor management services to help ensure safe, efficient, and successful project delivery.
Supporting Archer Wind Since 2022
Acting on behalf of Archer Wind, our scope of services has included:
- Procurement follow-up of mooring lines
- Sub-contractor management and engineering for the floater loadout and berthing
- Sub-contractor management for WTG integration
- Assembly site management and on-site engineering supervision
- Offshore engineering and analysis
Marking the milestone at Wergeland Group Base
Following the completion of the WTG assembly, Global Maritime was invited to attend the inauguration of the Culzean floating wind unit at the Wergeland Group Base.
John Anders Johnsrud, Principal Engineer, and Scott Cruttenden, Chief Commercial Officer, attended the event alongside key project stakeholders and project-based colleagues Cecilie Vangdal, Senior Project Engineer and Anja Elisabeth Føli, Global HSEQ Manager to celebrate this important achievement for the Culzean Floating Pilot and view the installation.
Scott Cruttenden, Chief Commercial Officer at Global Maritime, said:
