Gina Krog TMRS Recovery
North Sea
Global Maritime successfully managed the recovery of the Turret Mooring Riser System (TMRS) for the Rangrid FSO at the Gina Krog field. Despite the challenges of a harsh North Sea autumn, the team recovered all subsea infrastructure.
This included mooring lines, STL buoys, and riser bases, while performing extensive seabed cleaning to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Safely retrieved GRP covers, spools, riser bases, and mooring lines for refurbishment or disposal.
- Executed dredging and cleaning operations to restore the seabed in accordance with authority requirements.
- Overcame seasonal North Sea conditions by utilizing specialized methods to maximize limited operational windows.
- Successfully transported all recovered equipment to decommissioning and refurbishment yards.
